About me

A man with a beard, glasses, and tattoos juggling a green pear, an orange, a lemon, and a red apple against a plain white background.

I’m Miguel Trevino, a registered dietitian with a clinical foundation and a deep respect for performance-based nutrition.

My approach to nutrition was shaped by working at the intersection of healthcare and training…where lab values, diagnoses, and medications meet real bodies that need to move, recover, and function in daily life. I believe nutrition should do more than just manage numbers on a chart; it should improve how people feel, perform, and live.

At Delta Health & Performance, I work with individuals managing conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity, as well as athletes and active adults who want to fuel their training without compromising their health. Whether the goal is improved blood sugar control, better body composition, or stronger performance in the gym, the process starts the same way: understanding the physiology, building a solid foundation, and applying nutrition with intention.

I don’t believe in extreme protocols, rigid meal plans, or one-size-fits-all recommendations. Instead, I focus on evidence-based strategies that are realistic, sustainable, and tailored to the individual in front of me. Nutrition should fit your life…not the other way around.

As someone who trains consistently and understands the demands of structured programming, I bring both a clinical perspective and practical experience into my work. That balance allows me to bridge the gap between medical nutrition therapy and performance nutrition, helping clients move along the spectrum from managing health to optimizing capability.

Delta Health & Performance was built on one core idea: change should be measurable, meaningful, and sustainable. My role is to help guide that process with clarity, and structure.
